“Spring Joy” is an 8 x 8 inch original impressionist oil painting of water reflections.

The Inspiration: Creativity drawn from nature is a source of endless inspiration and chances to capture emotional experiences in subtle ways. I think that’s why I’m always drawn to capture clouds, storms, or water in pieces like “Spring Joy.” The beauty and power of nature can invoke excitement, uncertainty, hope, and so much more. For instance, I think looking at dancing light reflections on water is peaceful and thought-provoking.
