The Inspiration:  Creativity drawn from nature is a source of endless inspiration and chances to capture emotional experiences in subtly powerful ways. I think that’s why I’m always drawn to capture clouds and stormscapes in pieces like “Overcoming Evening.” I want you to feel something – possibly the same something I felt while painting or more likely, something entirely different and personal to you. Storms and the power of nature can invoke excitement, uncertainty, hope, and so much more. Hearing about the feelings each piece inspires within you will always be my favorite part of this type of impressionist work.
